The Chapman Dining Commons is a gracious, light-filled space with natural stone inside and out and huge windows overlooking a patio with cedar pergola and the quandrangle beyond.

The space features acoustical surfaces including a perforated metal ceiling that helps to reduce noise and to foster mealtime conversation.  Loudspeakers above the ceiling are part of an integrated A/V system that makes lectures, presentations, and background music a snap.

The solid oak furniture that resides in the space seats about 250; additional chairs and round tables can be brought in for a total seating capacity of 500.  Casual seating in one-third of the space provides an ideal setting for relaxation and informal meetings.  Wireless internet access is provided.

Adjacent to the Dining Commons is a collegiate-style servery and an extremely well-equipped industrial kitchen.
